He was born in Crete, in Hania.
1984
He entered the Higher School of Arts in Berlin (UDK) and he sat under painting
courses with professor G. BERGMANN. At the same time he attended the engraving
workshops (zincography, lithography, serigraphy) and professor's S. TAIJIRI
sculpture workshop.
1989
Graduation from the School and six-month scholarship of DAAD.
1991
Postgraduate degree - Distinction of MEISTERSCHULER School.
1994
He was appointed as a teacher in the secondary education.
1996
He was elected as General Secretary of the Association of Artists of Conjectural Arts
of North Greece - VAANG, from 1996-2000.
2000-3
He was elected as President of the Association of Artists of Conjectural Arts of North
Greece - VAANG, from 2000-2003.
2001-6
He was teached "Visual Arts" in the Architectural School of Aristotle University of
Thessaloniki
2003-6
He was appointed as responsible of the Cultural Programs and the Panhellenic
Artistic Contests in the Administration of Secondary Education of West Thessaloniki.
In 1999 he organized the artistic village "Parikia Istion" in Samos inland with the financing of the Ministry of Macedonia & Thracia, with the participation of 15 international artists and with shows in Samo, Xanthi, Thessaloniki and Lemesos.
In 2000 he received the 1st prize in the 6th International Biennalle of Miniature in Milanovats in Yugoslavia with his work "Fiali I" in the category of Mixed Technique.
From 2001 up to 2003 he organized, with the financing of the Ministry of Macedonia & Thracia, the students' artistic workshops, work "Triovolon" in Naxo, in Xanthi and in Pafos Cyprus.
In 2001 he organized as president of VAANG the 1st Panhellenic show of Miniature Art in Thessaloniki.
In 2002 he organized as president of VAANG the 1st Inter-Balkan show of Miniature Art in Thessaloniki.
His works are exposed in the Macedonian Museum of Modern Art MMST, in the Municipal Picture Gallery of Thessaloniki, in the National Museum of Modern Art, in the Picture Gallery of "Association of Macedonian Studies", in the European Center for the Development of Professional Training (Cedefop), Thessaloniki, Fine Arts Museum Beijing and in private collections.
He participated in critic committees: August 2002 in Ohrida in the three-nations meeting of young artists, September 2003 in "Paraxeni Othoni" in Moni Lazariston.
